YOKOSUKA (June 19, 2017) – Damage Controlman 1st Class Pedro Santos, assigned to USS Stethem (DDG 63), discusses assistance given to the crew of Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer USS Fitzgerald (DDG 62). Fitzgerald was involved in a collision with a merchant vessel, but returned to Fleet Activities (FLEACT) Yokosuka under its own power.
