Meet the Marines assigned to the Marine Detachment aboard the USS Whidbey Island (LSD-41) as they prepare for Sail Boston 2017. Sail Boston is scheduled to occur June 17-22 at Boston Harbor showcasing the largest fleet of ships since 2000. The Marines and Sailors are participating in the event in order to showcase the strengths of America’s amphibious fighting force to civilians in Boston.
