125 men and women departed on 3 June to Romania. They departed from barracks in Doorn (NLD) by coach to military airbase Eindhoven. They embarked there in a Dutch KDC-10 multirole tanker and fly in 2 hours to Sibiu. There they hand over to the MOVCON organization, who brought them with coaches to Cincu, escorted by Military Police. Convoy consist also 6 Romanian trucks with Dutch equipment and weapons.
Dutch Marines will take part alongside NATO Allies in Exercise Noble Jump 2017, designed to test NATO’s rapid reaction forces.
