Marine Wing Communication Squadron 28 conducts a live-fire training exercise aboard Marine Corps Base Camp Lejeune N.C., Apr. 18, 2017. Marines assigned to the squadron conducted the training in order to familiarize themselves with the M240B medium machine gun and maintain unit readiness. During the training Marines fired unknown distance, conducted weapon malfunction drills and refreshed their knowledge on what techniques maintain the weapon system and keeps it functioning. MWCS-28 is assigned to Marine Air Control Group 28, 2nd Marine Aircraft Wing.
