General Mandated Training (GMT) Reduction
As part of the Commandant's Human Capital Strategy, Coast Guard Force Readiness Command as reduced the number of courses from eight to five! That's more than a 40 percent reduction and less than half the amount of time.

Bystander Intervention Training
The Coast Guard's Sexual Assault Prevention and Response (SAPR) Program is launching a new Bystander Intervention Training (BIT). The training is voluntary, but command's are authorized to grant mandated training credit to those who take BIT. For more information, view the recent ALCOAST or contact your local Sexual Assault Response Coordinators (SARCs).
