    Battle Company, 1st Battalion, 179th Infantry Regiment, 45th Infantry Brigade Combat Team, 1st Sgt. John Workman, a native of Ponca City, Oklahoma, discusses the challenges and rewards of serving as a mentor for Joint Multinational Training Group-Ukraine. The JMTG-U mission is geared towards training and professionalizing the Ukrainian army and developing Ukrainian combat training center staff. The final training event for the Ukrainian soldiers he has been mentoring is a combined-arms battalion live-fire exercise held at the Yavoriv Combat Training Center located on the International Peacekeeping and Security Center near Yavoriv, Ukraine on March 29, 2017.
