Soldiers from the 3rd Armored Brigade Combat Team, 4th Infantry Division, participated in the 43rd Annual Great Escape Race in Zagan, Poland. The race and ceremony commemorate the 73rd anniversary of The Great Escape, a large scale escape attempt from a German prisoner of war camp on March 24th, 1944 involving Soldiers from numerous nations. Participating in The Great Escape Race shows not only the United States
commitment to building a Strong Europe, but also it's commitment to
building strong community relationships.
