Command Sgt. Major Gerald Ecker, Command Sergeant Major of the United States Army Medical Command (USAMEDCOM), led more than 2,000 enlisted Medical Corps Soldiers on a 3-mile fun run in celebration of the US Army Enlisted Medical Corps 130th Anniversary on March 1, 2017 at Joint Base San Antonio - Fort Sam Houston.
Enlisted Medical Corps Soldiers (68 series) are the backbone of Army Medicine and serve in austere locations around the world saving lives on and off the battlefield.
