On January 25, 2017, First Infantry Division and Fort Riley, Kansas, conducted a Retirement Ceremony to honor eleven soldiers and one Department of Army civilian employee who are retiring from active service. Acting Senior Commander Brig. Gen. Patrick D. Frank provided remarks, and presented retirement awards and certificates to the retirees. Music was provided by 1st Infantry Division Band Wind Ensemble.
