    Joint Base Charleston

Moving everything from Humvees to paratroopers all over the globe is no easy task. Which is why the 43rd Air Mobility Operations Group and 82nd Airborne recently held a four day training exercise to test their Global Response Force capabilities. It takes detailed coordination and collaboration from the Army and Air Force in order to make these movements happen, with this exercise testing the communication not only between Fort Bragg soldiers and Pope Field airmen, but Joint Base Charleston, SC and Joint Base Lewis-McChord, WA Airmen as well. These types of exercises are what help the 43rd AMOG inspect more than 2000 items and 14 million pounds of cargo last year alone, making it one of the busiest cargo joint air drop inspection offices in all of Air Mobility Command. (U.S. Air Force video/Staff Sergeant Brian Gratz).
