Fort Hunter Liggett Staff Judge Advocate Lt. Col. Charmaine Betty-Singleton was the keynote speaker at the VFW Post 10965's Veterans Day Ceremony on Nov. 11, 2016 at the Paso Robles District Cemetery. The event included an Invocation by FHL's Chaplain (Maj.) Vaughn Benner, opening remarks by County Supervisor Frank Mecham (U.S. Navy Veteran), patriot songs sung by all participants, and a fly over of historic aircrafts by the Estrella Warbird Museum Veteran aviators. The VFW and American Legion Post 50 Honor Guard conducted a rifle volley tribute while the Paso Robles Boys and Girls Scouts led the Pledge of Allegiance.
