The 5th and 2nd Bomb Wings with the 91st Missile Wing, worked together at Minot Air Force Base during the Strategic Command exercise Global Thunder 17. The annual exercise tests our nation's ability to deter and defeat a military attack against the United States. The wings demonstrated their abilities throughout the week during weapons generations and a successful rapid launch of 20 B-52s.
