The New Mexico Air National Guard 150th Special Operations Wing celebrated Family Day with food, live music, a provider information expo, a car show and kids games. Family Day hosted nearly 1,500 150th SOW Airmen and their families at the New Mexico Air National Guard headquarters location at Kirtland Air Force Base, New Mexico. Static aircraft including a UH-1N Huey, a CV-22 Osprey, and a HC-130P/N Combat King, were also on display from the 58th Special Operations Wing, with whom the 150th works under a Total Force Integration by order of the Secretary of the Air Force. The event was a "great success", according to Maj. Dianne Hanley, operations officer with the 150th Logistics Readiness Squadron. Family Day is intended to leverage on unit cohesion via education, information and socializing. This year's theme was "Expeditionary Families".
