U.S. Marines with Marine Aviation Logistics Squadron 12 and Japan Maritime Self-Defense Force Maintenance and Supply Squadron 31 came together for a field meet at Marine Corps Air Station Iwakuni, Japan, Oct. 21, 2016. Both squadrons bonded through competition in softball, soccer and tug-of-war, and feasted on traditional yakisoba and whole roasted pig. Field meets allow both U.S. and Japanese service members an opportunity to experience each other’s culture, fostering stronger relationships for the future. (U.S. Marine Corps video by Cpl.
