Veterans supporting veterans.
The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers supports the Department of Veterans Affairs efforts to put veterans to work. The Fort Worth District awarded the Dallas-Fort Worth Cemetery Expansion contract to a service-disabled-veteran-owned small business. The company is now in the field executing the expansion to help the VA's National Cemetery Administration create a pastoral final resting place for those who served our Nation. Col. Calvin C. Hudson II, commander, Fort Worth District, conducted a site visit last week to monitor progress of this important project.
