More than 300 service members attended the 69th annual Air Force Ball Sept. 23 at Al Udeid Air Base. This video was played during the event which honored the day the Army Air Corps became a separate branch of service in 1947.
The theme of the 2016 AF Ball at AUAB was “Vanguard of Freedom Since 1942” in acknowledgement of the unit’s historical origin, which ties back to the 379th Bombardment Group.
