U.S. Marines with Task Force Koa Mona and Peruvian Marines conduct a range in Ancon, Peru. The Marines conducted the range to train with and familiarize themselves and their Peruvian counterparts with the FN2000 and M16A4 service rifle. The Koa Moana exercise seeks to enhance senior military leader engagements between allied and partner nations in the Pacific with a collective interest in military-to-military relations and to discuss key aspects of military operations, capability development and interoperability in the South Pacific.
