The 5th Bomb Wing conducted exercise Prairie Vigilance 16 dash 1 to validate the wing's capability to execute conventional and nuclear-capable bomber operations. Team Minot Airmen weren't given prior notification of the exercise, giving them the opportunity to train like they would fight. 3,500 Airmen from the 5th Bomb Wing demonstrated their abilities during the weapons generations and fly off. The exercise concluded with a successful rapid launch of 12 B-52s. Reporting from Minot Air Force base I'm A1C Izabella Sullivan.
