Petty Officer 2nd Class Dan Paz discusses what float plans are and how they can help a boater direct rescuers to them faster and more efficiently if something tragic takes place on the water, August 25, 2016.

Paz also discusses the Coast Guard App, which contains an electronic version of a float plan, as well as tabs for boating safety checks and state boating information.
