Readiness is the Army Reserve’s number one priority; there is no other number one. To build and sustain the most capable, combat-ready, and lethal federal reserve force in our history, we must be ready and that includes medical readiness.
Annual health assessments and dental screening are crucial to medical readiness. To remain ready, Soldiers must schedule their own PHAs and dental screenings and the simple fact is, it’s not getting done.
My personal challenge to every Army Reserve Soldier and Civilian is to do your part to help our Army Reserve get ready by continuing to promote major medical readiness events during annual training and exercises, and instituting initiatives that promote individual awareness of the importance of medical readiness.
I also encourage Leaders to utilize the Commander’s Strength Management Module, which identifies and enables leaders to reach individual Soldiers who are not in compliance.
Get ready and Stay ready, so we will be there when America needs us to fight and win our Nation’s wars. Twice the Citizen! Army Strong!
