    U.S. Army Soldiers from the 5th Engineer Battalion at Fort Leonard Wood, MO participate in a TRADOC Capability Manager for Maneuver Support sponsored Military User Assessment of R&D technologies that would provide the Army with the capability to rapidly establish brown-out mitigating all-weather landing surfaces for small base camps. The U.S. Army Engineer Research & Development Center provided five proposed solutions and validated an update to a current doctrinal field expedient solution.
