JOINT BASE SAN ANTONIO-LACKLAND Texas (Jun 17, 2016) – LEAD: Since 1968, the C-5 has been the largest
aircraft in the Air Force to transport vital supplies on a moments notice. The C-5 can hold 73 passengers and
a maximum cargo of 204,904 pounds. As Airman Brittany Gould reports, the 433rd Airlift Wing on Lackland
Air Force Base received its first upgraded version.
