Airman First Class Derick Kvam is a Airman from the 148th Fighter Wing out of Duluth, Minn. Working as an electrician in the unit, the young Airman was chosen to participate in a training mission in Croatia as part of the National Guard State Partnership Program. This year the Minnesota Guardsmen will be renovating a school in Karlovac, Croatia.
