Defense Secretary Ash Carter and other DoD leaders hosted a Tragedy Assistance Program for Survivors event at the Pentagon, May 27, 2016. The event gathered families for a night of fun and remembrance to coincide with Memorial Day weekend. The program, known as TAPS, offers support to military families who have lost a family member serving in the military.
