After pushing through the last nine miles of the Crucible, the 54-hour culminating event of recruit training, recruits of India Company, 3rd Recruit Training Battalion, and Papa Company, 4th Recruit Training Battalion, arrived at the Peatross parade deck April 23, 2016, on Parris Island, S.C. Upon completion of the hike, each recruit finally earned the title Marine, making this the defining moment of the previous 12 weeks of training. Both companies are scheduled to graduate April 29, 2016. (Video by Lance Cpl. Aaron Bolser)
