Members of the Coast Guard, NOAA, The Marine Mammal Center and volunteers provide interviews about the transport of Hawaiian monk seals aboard an HC-130 Hercules airplane from Coast Guard Air Station Barbers Point traveling from Kona, Hawaii, to the air station on Oahu April 14, 2016. Seven monk seals were brought to The Marine Mammal Center's Ke Kai Ola rehabilitation facility in Fall 2015 for care, prior to being transported island to island today to meet their NOAA ship, for future release back into the wild in the Northwestern Hawaiian Islands.
