Ten firefighters from the Fire Emergency Services on Camp Zama recently took part in the first Civil Protection exercise ever at Thirty-four Sagamihara Baseball Stadium in Sagamihara city. The exercise was designed to evaluate participants’ response to various scenarios that are related to the upcoming Tokyo Olympics and increase awareness of possible terrorist activities in the Kanagawa prefecture. The event was hosted by the Kanagawa Prefecture Government.
