For the first time in its 72 years of history, the 301st Fighter Wing installed its first ever honorary commanders during an induction ceremony on Saturday, February 6, 2016 at Naval Air Station Fort Worth Joint Reserve Base, Texas.
Just like the dual role Reservists have, these seven honorary commanders represent seven individual groups and squadrons under the 301st while also representing a broad cross-section of area community leaders in which the wing aims to build relationships with, to demonstrate responsible air force stewardship and to encourage these leaders to share their Air Force stories.
