Governor Jay Nixon has briefed the press and Missouri National Guardsmen on debris removal following the historic floods. The governor was joined by his emergency management team at guard post Jefferson barracks, which will be the head quarters for the operation. The Missouri National Guard will manage debris removal operations at the state level.
