The Missouri National Guard supports regional helicopter assets from 14 states at the TASMG facility in Springfield Missouri. Aircraft are serviced, repaired and retrofitted to "like new" standards; parts are fabricated and sometimes designed and improved;all at a small fraction of the cost. The Department of Defense funds Missouri's TASMG tens of millions, but receives hundreds of millions in cost savings.
