The Coast Guard Cutter Kanawha approaches one of the lock and dams it has to pass during its transits of the Mississippi, Arkansas and White Rivers as they maintain aids to navigation along the three rivers, Nov. 16, 2015. The Kanawha’s crew continuously sets and resets buoys along the three rivers they maintain as the rivers water levels rise and fall throughout the year from sunrise to sunset each day they are underway conducting ATON.
