Coalition strike destroyed one of three Da’ish’s (an Arabic acronym for ISIL) buildings, near Mar'a, Syria on Nov. 20, 2015. The strikes were in support of the vetted and coalition trained Syrian opposition forces conducting operations to drive out ISIL forces in Mar'a, which is near the Turkish/ Syrian border.
The 13 strikes near Mar'a that day targeted 12 separate ISIL tactical units and an ISIL headquarters and destroyed four ISIL fighting positions, three ISIL buildings, an ISIL heavy machine gun, an ISIL staging area, damaged an ISIL fighting position and an ISIL building, and wounded an ISIL fighter.
