The crew of the Coast Guard Cutter Boutwell from San Diego, California, prepare to tow the Merchant Vessel Altic after the crew of the vessel allegedly threw more than five and half tons of contraband overboard from the small coastal freighter, which was recovered in international waters off the coast of Costa Rica. This constituted the largest maritime cocaine seizure in the Eastern Pacific Ocean since 2009 by the U.S. Coast Guard along with the U.S. Navy, Royal Canadian Navy, and a Joint Interagency Task Force in early March. Coast Guard video courtesy of Cutter Boutwell.
