“Hamilton’s Own” of 1st Battalion, 5th Field Artillery Regiment, 1st Armored Brigade Combat Team, 1st Infantry Division hosted a leader professional development event for the brigade with instruction and live fire Oct. 23 at Fort Riley. The training event was to provide maneuver commanders a greater understanding of artillery capabilities, sensor-to-shooter processes, and battlefield effects. Soldiers were taken through five 10 minute classes followed by live fire demonstrations.
