The US Army Corps of Engineers, Buffalo District is making $2.7 million dollars worth of repairs to Buffalo confined disposal facility dike (CDF) #4, Buffalo, New York.
The CDF is located at the south end of the Buffalo Harbor and was constructed in 1977 by building a stone perimeter dike from the Lake Erie shoreline, south of the Buffalo Harbor South entrance, to the lakeward end of the South Entrance Arm Breakwater and is used to contained legacy dredged sediment.
