U.S. Army Soldiers from the 741st Quartermaster Company of the South Carolina National Guard complete their mission of providing clean water to the Palmetto Health Richland hospital after severe flooding caused widespread damage in the Columbia S.C. area. The South Carolina National Guard has been activated to support state and county emergency management agencies and local first responders as historic flooding impacts counties statewide. Currently, more than 1,800 South Carolina National Guard members are still activated in response to the floods.
