Kapitänleutnant Alex Mummert talks us through what it’s like to be under attack from land, sea and air on board the FGS Hamburg during one of her regular combat exercises in preparation for international exercise Trident Juncture.

Trident Juncture is NATO’s most ambitious land, sea and air exercise in more than a decade. Involving 36,000 troops from 30 Allied and Partner Nations, it is primarily hosted by Italy, Portugal and Spain.
