ARABIAN GULF (Oct. 3, 2015) U.S. Marine Lance Cpl. Brianna Mikus uses music as a getaway from the daily stresses of being deployed aboard the amphibious assault ship USS Essex (LHD 2). Mikus is a radio operator with Combat Logistics Battalion 15, 15th Marine Expeditionary Unit. The 15th MEU, embarked on the ships of the Essex Amphibious Ready Group, is deployed to maintain regional security in the U.S. 5th Fleet area of operations. (U.S. Marine Corps video by Cpl.
