American soldiers with the 173rd Airborne Brigade and soldiers with the General Engineering Coy, Juozas Vitkus Engineering Battalion, Lithuanian Land Forces work together to clear a simulated mine field, breach an obstacle and clear a mock enemy position. The service members use engineering equipment and explosive charges to accomplish this task. Following this demonstration, the service members attend a closing ceremony, where the Troops are commended for their efforts throughout the week. The demonstration and ceremony are a culmination of Engineer Thunder, a military exercise focusing on interoperability and strengthening partnerships among engineer service members operating throughout Eastern Europe.
