Swamp Fox Airmen assigned to the 169th Fighter Wing at McEntire Joint National Guard Base, Eastover, S.C., had a special visitor during August drill weekend. Declan Alexander was Pilot for a Day, August 15, 2015. Declan and his father spent the day with U.S. Air Force 1st Lt. Cody May, a fighter pilot with the 157th Fighter Squadron, and got hands-on experience around the base. Pilot for a Day is a program to provide children with special needs or a terminal illness a chance to live a day as a pilot and gain a memory of a lifetime.
