U.S. Marine Corps Sgt. Thomas Brown, a native of the small desert town Salome, Ariz., has always strived to push his personal limits. In 2005 Brown, a mortarman in the infantry, accepted the ultimate challenge and enlisted in the United States Marine Corps, wanting to take his place amongst the Marines and make a difference.
