U.S. Marines with Weapons Company, Battalion Landing Team (BLT) 2nd Battalion 5th Marines, conduct a rehearsal for a Tactical Recovery of Aircraft and Personnel mission aboard the USS Bonhomme Richard (LHD 6), June 20. The Marines of BLT 2/5 are currently assigned to the 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU) as the ground combat element. The Marines and sailors of the 31st MEU are currently deployed on a regularly scheduled Fall Patrol of the Asia-Pacific region.
