The 4th Infantry Division participated and celebrated in Lithuania's Statehood Day ceremony in Vilnius, Lithuania. Statehood Day is an annual public holiday in Lithuania celebrated on July 6 to commemorate the coronation in 1253 of Mindaugas as the first and only King of Lithuania.
The 4th Infantry Division is in Europe as part of Operation Atlantic Resolve. Operation Atlantic Resolve is a demonstration of continued U.S.
commitment to the collective security of NATO and to enduring peace and stability in the region, in light of Russia's illegal actions in Ukraine.
