Marines from 1st, 5th, and 7th Marine Regiments, and 1st and 3rd Light Armored Reconnaissance Battalion, 1st Marine Division, competed in the Division School's Super Squad Competition. 2015 is the first year the competition is being held after a 15-year break. The events included a gear inspection, CFT, 100-question written test, day time patrol, night time defense, 9-mile hike, maneuver under fire and a 3-mile hike.
