A group of students participating in the 1st Armored Brigade Combat Team, 3rd Infantry Division, Bystander Intervention training were provided the opportunity to speak freely about how the class benefited them. The facilitators of the week-long class were asked to step outside for about half an hour and this is what transpired in their absence.
Bystander intervention training is a way of developing and empowering leaders to make the right decision and step in if necessary, regardless of the situation in which they may find themselves.
