Under Secretary for Acquisitions, Technology and Logistics Mr. Frank Kendall will host the first-ever DoD Lab Day in the Pentagon Center Courtyard and South Parking area.
Opening ceremony remarks will be delivered by Deputy Secretary of Defense Robert Work.
The event will showcase innovations from more than 60 Army, Marines, Navy, Air Force, and Medical laboratories and engineering centers across the country. More than 100 exhibits will be featured including the Army High-Energy Laser mobile display, Air Force BATMAN high tech head-mounted display, helmets that protect from and help heal traumatic brain injuries, Navy Information Dominance (Cyber) display, and Marine robots with enhanced agility. Exhibits will be open to members of Congress, STEM-participating high schools, media and special guests.
