Future U.S. Marine Corps candidates from Recruiting Stations Charleston and Louisville hosted a mini Officer Candidates School at Camp Sherman Joint Training Center in Chillicothe, Ohio, May 24-26. The candidates got a first hand experience at some of the things they will experience in OCS at Marine Corps Base Quantico, Virginia, such as land navigation, field operations and fitness tests. Interviews by: Capt. Nathan Jacob, assigned to OST Columbus and native of Ashland, Ohio; Mackenzie Dean, a future Marine Corps officer candidate and Greenwood, Indiana native; and 2nd Lt. Benjamin Shuler, a recent OCS graduate and Bowling Green, Ohio native.
