Wind Spring Movement to Contact Exercise conducted in Smardan, Romania as part of Operation Atlantic Resolve was a combined training exercise/demonstration conducted with American, Romanian and British forces. The purpose was to increase interoperability and strengthen the NATO alliance within Romania. Distinguished visitors in attendance were the Romanian Minister of Defense, Mircea Duşa, and Deputy Supreme Allied Commander Europe, British General Sir Adrian John Bradshaw.
