This video tells the story of five Wounded Warrior heroes who visited troops assigned to Train Advise Assist Command-East at Tactical Base Gamberi Thursday. The visit was part of Operation Proper Exit, an opportunity for the heroes to return to Afghanistan to receive their well-deserved proper exit. The heroes are: USMC Corporal (Ret) Kyle Carpenter (Medal of Honor Recipient), U.S. Army Master Sergeant (Ret) Leroy Petry (Medal of Honor Recipient), U.S. Army Sergeant Tom Block (2014 Army Times Soldier of the Year), U.S. Army Sergeant (Ret) Ralph Cacciapaglia, and U.S. Army Corporal (Ret) Steve Martin.
