Alaska Army National Guardsmen with the 297th Battlefield Surveillance Brigade engage with local community members during their 2-week annual training in Bethel, Alaska, and outlying villages in March. The Guardsmen had the opportunity to speak with students in Napaskiak, tour Bethel’s Yupiit Piciryarait cultural center, enjoy a prime rib dinner hosted by Bethel’s VFW Post and present an Open House at the National Guard armory for local residents.
